“Palestinians need a united action from the Muslim world: Turkish Foreign Minister”

"What the Palestinian people need is our collective action," Fidan stated during a meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Monday (August 25).
He underlined that in order to force Israel to find a long-term solution, "coordinated pressure" is crucial.

The OIC's primary talks would center on coordinating member nations' stances and reactions, as well as Israel's continuous operations in Gaza, according to Anadolu Agency.
Meanwhile, some 63,000 civilians have been murdered by Israeli assaults throughout the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, over 150,000 additional people have been hurt, and many more are still buried beneath the debris.

Bypassing the United Nations and other humanitarian groups, Israel began a separate assistance distribution program through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation on May 27 after violating the truce earlier this year. The international assistance community has mainly opposed this action, despite the United States' backing for it.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant were the targets of arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in November of last year for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Due to the continuous conflict in the enclave, Israel is also facing a genocide complaint at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
